Sunday Sun and Spatial Geometry

The sunlight was exceptional this morning. Sitting at the desk with my daughter for a couple of hours, we discussed how to intuitively understand the volume of geometric shapes. I've always felt that instead of having her rote-memorize formulas, it's far better to show her how objects stack and slice in three-dimensional space.

As an architect who deals with blueprints daily, I'm accustomed to observing the world from a foundational, logical layer. When she finally gave me that "Oh, I get it now!" look, the sense of satisfaction I felt was honestly stronger than completing a complex system design.

Thoughts on the Future: Will AI Possess "Creativity"?

I've been reading a few articles on the current directions of AI research lately, and it's quite fascinating. The focus seems to be shifting increasingly towards "generative art" and "natural language emotional understanding." It makes me wonder if the AI of the future will evolve past being just cold lines of code, and instead become a medium that helps us express our own emotions.

For instance, in the design of virtual spaces, if AI could assist us in capturing those fleeting moments of inspiration, the possibilities would be endless. There is still a long way to go, but this cross-disciplinary exploration is truly captivating.

While we relentlessly pursue digitalization, we should occasionally pause to feel the temperature of earth and brick.
